Suckling Airways is an airline that focuses on ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) work and ad hoc corporate charters for business and sporting organisations. It has its head office at Cambridge Airport, Cambridgeshire. Suckling Airways (Cambridge) Ltd holds a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority Type A Operating Licence, it is permitted to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with 20 or more seats. On 8 July 2011, it was announced that Glasgow based airline Loganair had agreed to buy Suckling Airways, the company continued to trade as a separate airline which held its own licences and approvals until April 2013 when it was fully integrated with Loganair. The company reverted to its registered name of Suckling Airways in July 2011, before this the company was trading as ScotAirways. The re-brand was part of the deal with Loganair.
